In Rotary International, a "district" encompasses a collection of clubs and Rotarians within a designated area. With over 500 districts worldwide, this structure allows Rotary International to effectively support its clubs and members in advancing Rotary’s mission. The Rotary Club of Latrobe is proud to belong to Rotary District 7305.
Serving as a District Governor is an exceptional honor, recognizing individuals who are respected leaders, nominated by their clubs to fill this esteemed role. As Governor, you serve as the official representative of Rotary International in your district, guiding clubs, inspiring members, and promoting Rotary’s impact within the community.
District Governors serve for one Rotary year, from July 1 to June 30, and play a vital role in shaping district initiatives in the year leading up to their term. Assistant Governors, as liaisons between clubs and the district, strengthen Rotary by building relationships with club leaders, ensuring effective collaboration and growth.
